"I have worked with Niina for over one year. The sessions from Niina were very powerful. Niina has an incredible capacity to completely meet me where I was in that moment, without feeling the urge to alter my feelings, thoughts or sensations. This made me always felt very seen and deeply listened to. Also, she has a natural curiosity, focusing on the topic which was truly present for me. Her gentleness and softness create a warm space in which I feel always safe and very comfortable to talk. I recommended Niina to several of my friends and family. Niina encompasses a true gift, making me always see new perspectives with true impact. Therefore, I warmly recommend her for your own Inner Journey!"

Lisa

"My therapy progress has truly helped me to find balance, be self-aware and believe in my capabilities. Niina is very empathic and understanding, which created a safe space to share my thoughts, reflect on my anxiety and understand the mind better. I finished therapy with a higher self-acceptance, self-esteem and emotional safety. This has increased my quality of life and ability to be appreciative of the great and the harder days and times in my life. Navigating expat life can be tough and Niina’s ability to relate has really helped me to remind me of its advantages and being appreciative of all the relationships with others in my life and to choose a self-determined path."

"The therapy approach of Niina is very calm, focused on feelings and the present moment. During the sessions, she showed an intuitive gift that pinpointed exactly the direction where I could find my own answers. I was amazed of her empathy and caring during the session, creating an open and safe space for me. Even when 2020 was a hectic year for everyone, I was very lucky to have Niina as my therapist. I can totally recommend her!"

"Niina is a great therapist who always makes you feel calm, it always feels like you have someone watching your back rooting for you. She makes you feel at ease and makes it much easier to get in touch with your emotions, with many tools at her disposal to help you feel less overwhelmed. With many tools also comes flexibility, where if something doesn't seem to be working well for you personally she always seems to have something else available to try. I've been working with her for a while, and I've really noticed such a big difference in feeling more grounded & in touch with my own emotions, less overwhelmed when things get difficult and in general feeling a more clear sense of purpose in life. I would highly recommend trying out some sessions with her whether you've never tried therapy or have had another therapist in the past."

My approach is integrative, combining client-centred humanistic, emotion-based, existential, and experiential approaches. The therapy approach will be individually tailored to your unique needs. I apply what works for you based on your situation, your history and your preferences. The tools are combined from evidence based approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and schema therapy (ST) with integrative approaches such as gestalt therapy, mind-body connection, existential therapy and focusing. I will be meeting you where you are, and from there I will be supporting your to your greater self-awareness.

I see therapy as a collaborative process where client and therapist meet each other with genuine openness and a shared desire to help you expand and thrive. I will meet you on the journey with warmth, presence and sensitivity, and challenge you when needed, but always from a space of unconditional positive regard and care.

We don't often get someone being completely honest to us about our behaviour. I believe therapy is profound because someone can mirror to us our blind spots, strenghten our self-knowledge and point out our limitations.  Often what happens in a therapy room, translates to what happens outside a therapy room. It's a place to safely explore patterns, thoughts and behaviours that make life more difficult. That can encompass working compassionately with conditioning, the personality, past traumas, beliefs and at the body level, working with tension, avoidance of emotions, and experiences. With self-awareness and taking responsibility, you choose to live a life with more ease, trust and strength.

I am passionate about supporting you, because it is deeply beautiful to see fellow humans regain an aware, loving and genuine connection to themselves to be the person they long to be and live a life they really want to live.
